Skate Canada program:
Adult & Teen Learn to Skate
Skate Canada is focused on everyone being ACTIVE FOR LIFE.
TSC offers Adult / Teen skating lessons normally in September only.
Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program is the Can Skate program which is designed for beginners of all ages. When you sign up for Adult / Teen skating lessons you will be in a program that focuses on basic skill development (following the skills chart from Can Skate). You will learn fundamental skating skills such as forward, backward, stop, turn, and possibly cross overs.
Lessons are led by a NCCP certified professional coach. There may also be volunteer instructors helping the certified coach.
Skaters progress at their own rate.
Participants MUST wear a fitted, current CSA approved hockey helmet.
Note: ice may be shared by other learn to skate programs.
