Congratulations to Camryn Monsen (above) for passing her Gold Skills on March 6th 2021 at an in club assesment day. This is Camryn’s third gold test.

On February 13th 2021 she took part in her first virtual assessment and passed her GOLD DANCES and her GOLD ARTISTIC tests! Camryn is a grade 12 student and is working toward her gold skills and her star 9 freeskate tests.
Congratulations to Makayla Forrest (below) for completing additional gold tests to add to her gold skills. On February 13th 2021 she took part in her first virtual assessment and passed her GOLD DANCES and her GOLD ARTISTIC tests! Makayla is a grade 8 student with a goal to complete her gold freskate down the road.


Congratulations to Kaytlin Gingles (above) for passing her first complete Gold test – GOLD SKILLS on November 27th 2020. Kaytlin is a grade 12 student, and hopes to complete more gold tests once high tests days are allowed again (pandemic has them on hold).

TSC congratulates Maya Lecuyer on her Gold Freeskate test in Houston on March 9th 2019. This is Maya’s fourth gold test making her a QUAD GOLD TEST SKATER! Maya attends Caledonia Senior HIghshool (grade 10), she is a Program Assistant for the TSC and is enrolled to take her Can Skate coaching course this spring. Maya enjoys skiing, climbing and many other outdoor activities. Maya’s team of coaches includes Jennifer Kuehne, Kelsey Minhinnick, Heather Hanna and Joanne Bartlett.

TSC congratulates Brianne Monsen on her first gold test – GOLD SKILLS on May 12th 2018 at the Kitimat spring skating school test day. Brianne attendes Skeena Middle School in grade 8. She enjoys playing soccer and doing acro gymnastics. She is a volunteer Program Assistant for our Can Skate program. Brianne skates at the Juvenile ladies freeskate level, has passed her Junior Silver Freeskte test, she just passed her last Senior Silver Dance and has passed the Silver Interpretive test. Brianne is coaches by Jennifer Kuehne, Heather Hanna and Kelsey Minhinnick.

TSC would like to congratulate Maya Lecuyer on her first gold test – GOLD SKILLS on May 14th 2017 at the Kitimat spring skating test day. Maya attends Skeena Middle School and is very active outside of skating with skiing, climbing, biking and more. She volunteers to the club helping with the Can Skate program as a trained Program Assistant. Maya has worked very hard this season and had great improvement. Maya is coached by Jennifer Kuehen, Heather Hanna and Kelsey Minhinnick.

TSC would like to congratulate Hanah Lee for passing her GOLD INTERPRETIVE test in Kitimat on February 18th 2017. She skated a beautiful solo to ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ song by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. This is Hanah’s third gold test (already passing Gold Skill and Gold Dances in her previous club in Camrose Alberta). Hanah is a grade 11 student at Caledonia. She is very helpful with the TSC Can Skate program as one of our most experienced Program Assistants. Hanah is a hard worker and uses her practice ice time wisely. Hanah is coached by Jennifer Kuehne, Heather Hanna, & Kelsey Minhinnick.

The Terrace Skating Club would like to congratulate Hannah Jay on passing her first gold test – GOLD INTERPRETIVE on November 22nd 2014 in Kitimat. Hannah skated to ‘The Phantom of the Oprah’ for her test along a busy day including a skills test, dance test and freeskate test. Hannah is also very involved with basketball and and a high achieveing grade 11 student. She has been an active Program Assistant for the TSC Can Skate program and is a great role model. Hannah is coached by Kelsey Minhinnick & Jennifer Kuehne.

The Terrace Skating Club would like to congratulate Jorden Hendry on completing her QUAD GOLD in April 2011. Jorden Skated for 12 years. She went to Kamloops to skate with the Valleyview Skating club in the summer since she was 7 years old Until about 15 years old. Outside of skating, Jorden was in soccer and cheer-leading. Jorden was coached by Jennifer Kuehne. Jorden also coached for the TSC for one season 2013-2014 (her grade 12 year)!

The Terrace Skating Club would like to congratulate Rayven Algor for earning her Quad Gold in 2010! Rayven started skating at 5 years old and she has been skating since 2001 with the Terrace Skating Club. She was coached by Barb Long. She was also involved in school volleyball. Ray en coached for the TSC for 2011-2013 seasons.
